Carter Ashton (né le 1er avril 1991 à Winnipeg, dans la province du Manitoba au Canada) est un joueur professionnel de hockey sur glace canadien.

Carrière de joueur

Né à Winnipeg alors que son père, Brent Ashton, évoluait pour les Jets de Winnipeg. Il fut ralenti par une blessure lors de sa première saison complète dans la Ligue de hockey de l'Ouest où il ne récoltant que 9 points en 40 parties. L'année suivante, il améliora grandement son total de points, marquant 30 buts et ajouta 20 mentions d'assistances. Il fut sélectionné en fin de première ronde par le Lightning de Tampa Bay lors du repêchage de la Ligue nationale de hockey de 2009. Il participe avec l'équipe LHOu à la Super Serie Subway en 2009 et 2010.
