Stern (en fait Stern Electronics, Inc. puis Stern Pinball, Inc.) est une société américaine spécialisée dans la fabrication de flipper et de Jeu d'arcade, fondé en 1977 par Sam Stern basé à Chicago, dans l'Illinois.

Histoire
En 1947, Sam Stern rachète la moitié des parts de Williams, il en occupera la présidence durant de nombreuses années.
En 1977, il fonde Stern electronics.En 1986, après la mort de son père Sam, Gary Stern fonde Data East, racheté par Sega en 1994 et devenu Sega Pinball. En 1999, alors que l'industrie du flipper est vacillante, il achète à son tour Sega pinball et la rebaptise Stern Pinball, Inc. Stern demeure, en 2010, le seul fabricant de flippers encore en activité[1].
