America est une chanson de Simon et Garfunkel, sortie en 1968 sur l'album Bookends, puis en single en 1972 pour promouvoir la compilation Simon and Garfunkel's Greatest Hits. Ce single se classa à la 97e place du Billboard Hot 100.

Elle a notamment été reprise par le groupe de rock progressif Yes en 1971. Leur version, sortie en single, se classa 46e. David Bowie en a donné une interprétation minimaliste en ouverture du Concert for New York, donné en réaction aux attentats du 11 septembre 2001.

Elle apparaît dans la bande originale du film de Cameron Crowe Presque célèbre (2000)
