Backbeat est un film britannique, allemand réalisé en 1994. Ce film retrace les débuts des Beatles, depuis le groupe originel des Quarry Men jusqu'aux prémices de la "beatlemania".

Synopsis

Les Quarry Men se rendent à Hambourg (Allemagne) ou les "futurs" Beatles essayent de leur mieux à se faire remarquer par un éditeur pour faire un disque. Ils y rencontreront Astrid Kirchherr et Klaus Voormann.
