The Baster est un film américain réalisé par Josh Gordon et Will Speck, adapté du roman de Jeffrey Eugenides. Le tournage du film a commencé en mars 2009 et il sa sortie mondiale est annoncée pour 2010. On retrouvera au casting de ce film l'actrice Jennifer Aniston ainsi que Jason Bateman, révélé dans le film Juno.
Synopsis
Kassie, la trentaine, souhaite par-dessus tout tomber enceinte. Elle souhaite passer par l'insémination artificielle et fait part de son envie à son meilleur ami. Celui-ci décide alors de tout faire pour la convaincre d'être le père...
