Pour aider à comparer les ordres de grandeur des différentes longueurs, voici une liste de longueurs comprises entre 10 femtomètres et 100 femtomètre :

  • 10 fm, c'est 10-14 mètre,
  • échelle du noyau atomique d'un atome,
  • portée de la force nucléaire faible.
