Le tropisetron est un antagoniste du récepteur de sérotonine 5-HT3, utilisé habituellement comme antiémétique pour traiter les nausée et vomissement dérivés de la chimiothérapie. Cependant il a été utilisé expérimentalement comme analgésique dans des cas de fibromyalgie.
