Du fait de sa grande taille (2m19), Il a surtout joué des rôles de monstre/extraterrestre. Son visage est très peu connu du public, car il était costumé des pieds à la tête.
C'est lui qui a incarné le célèbre Predator dans Predator 1 et 2. On aperçoit d'ailleurs son visage à la fin de Predator, il joue le rôle du pilote de l'hélicoptère qui vient chercher Arnold Schwarzenegger dans la jungle juste après l'explosion nucléaire.
Il est mort du VIH, virus qu'il a contracté quelques mois avant le tournage de Predator 2 lors d'une transfusion sanguine.
