Joey Cape (16 novembre 1966 à Santa Barbara en Californie) est un chanteur et guitariste de punk officiant dans le groupe californien Lagwagon et son side project Bad Astronaut. Connu pour être un grand admirateur de Elliott Smith, il a repris Needle In The Hay avec Bad Astronaut. Il a sorti un album acoustique avec le chanteur de No Use For A Name Tony Sly. Il fait aussi partie du groupe Me First And The Gimmie Gimmies, groupe qui reprend des chansons d'artistes connus comme Don't Cry For Me Argentina.
Il fait actuellement partie de The Playing Favorites qui vient de sortir son premier album I Remember When I Was Pretty ainsi que de Afterburner.
De plus, il a sorti un album acoustique en solo nommé "Bridge".
