Lima est une petite ville de l'État de l'Ohio, aux États-Unis.

Elle est le siège du comté de Allen.

Géographie

Lima est desservi par un aéroport civil (code AITA : LIA) et le Allen County Airport (code AITA : AOH).

Démographie

Lima était peuplée, lors du recensement de 2000, de 40 081 habitants.

Économie

La ville abrite le Joint Systems Manufacturing Center de General Dynamics connut auparavant comme le Lima Tank Depot; l'une des principales usines d'assemblage de char de combat des États-Unis.

De la fin du XIXe S. au années 1950, la Lima Locomotive Works fabriquait du matériel ferroviaire dans cette ville.
