Aleksandar Matanović
Aleksandar Matanović (né le 23 mai 1930 à Belgrade en Yougoslavie) est un grand maître serbe du jeu d'échecs.
Carrière
Il a obtenu le titre de grand maître international en 1955, il est champion juinor de Yougoslavie en 1948 et champion de Yougoslavie en 1962 (avec Dragoljub Minić), 1969 et 1978, il est 2e en 1951, 1956, 1959 et 1967. Il a également publié plusieurs livres d'échecs et est l'éditeur du périodique l'Informateur d'échecs.
En compétition internationale, il obtient une 2e place au tournoi zonal de Vrnjacka Banja en 1967, il est 1er à Opatija 1953, 2e à Belgrade 1954, 1er à Hamburg 1955, 1er à Beverwijk 1957, 1er ex æquo à Buenos Aires 1961, 1er à Zevenaar et 2e à Jérusalem 1964.
