Giles Gilbert Scott

Sir Giles Gilbert Scott (Londres, 9 novembre 1890 - idem, 3 février 1960) est un architecte britannique connu pour son travail sur des bâtiments tels que la cathédrale de Liverpool et la Battersea Power Station. Fils de George Gilbert Scott Junior, petit-fils de Sir George Gilbert Scott, neveu de John Oldrid Scott et frère d'Adrian Gilbert Scott, il était originaire d'une famille de célèbres architectes. Scott est rappelé pour son style mêlant le néogothique traditionnel avec le modernisme, réalisant ainsi de nombreux bâtiments populaires et fonctionnels.
