Frank Kelly Freas est un artiste illustrateur américain de science-fiction et d'heroic fantasy, né le 27 août 1922 et décédé le 2 janvier 2005 à 82 ans.

Biographie

Il illustra notamment les couvertures des magazines tels The Piper (dès 1950), puis Mad Magazine entre 1955 et 1962. Outre ces couvertures, cet artiste illustra nombre de couverture de livres ou de pochettes de disques (album News of the world de The Queen, par exemple) et fut même chargé par la NASA de dessiner les logos de certaines missions spatiales (Skylab I, par exemple).
