Les Eozoa sont un embranchement d'organismes unicéllulaires "Protistes" créé par Cavalier-Smith en 2003 dans le Règne des Excavobionta ou Excavata. Ils regroupaient les Loukozoa (Jakobea et Malawimonadidea) et les Metamonada mais ne semblent pas monophylétiques.
