Videur

Un videur (plus formellement nommé physionomiste), aussi appelé portier ou doorman, est typiquement un homme vigoureux chargé d'expulser les personnes indésirables dans certains lieux publics (établissements de nuit, cabarets, bals, réunions politiques).

Le portier peut également restreindre l'accès dans ces lieux en fonction de certaines règles (type de clientèle désirée, limites physiques ou législatives des installations, etc.). Un videur peut être aussi toute force de sécurité travaillant dans une boite de nuit, et qui a pour objectif l'expulsion immédiate de toute personne allant à l'encontre de la loi a l'intérieur d'une boite de nuit.
