Debout fils d'Amazigh

Debout fils d'Amazigh ! (En Kabyle : Kker a mmis umazigh !) est un chant patriotique kabyle, considéré comme hymne national Amazigh^{[Par qui ?]}. Il a été composé par Mohand u yidir Aït Amrane en 1948 au lycée de Ben Aknoun (Alger).

Debout fils d'Amazigh !
Notre soleil s'est levé
Il y a longtemps que je ne l'avais vu,
Frère, notre tour est arrivé.

Cours dire à Massinissa :
Que son pays est aujourd'hui réveillé,
Quant à celui qui ne veut pas avancer,
Qu'un seul de nous vaut plus qu'un lion.

Dis, dis à Yugurtha :
Que ses enfants ne l'ont pas oublié,
Qu'ils le vengeront,
Qu'ils déterreront son nom.

À la Kahina des Chaouis
Qui a guidé les hommes,
Dis : "le pacte qu'elle nous a laissé,
Jamais nous ne l'oublierons.

Nous vivrons avec notre langue,
Demain sera meilleur qu'hier,
Le berbère croîtra et prospérera,
C'est le pilier du progrès.

Des monts est venu l'appel,
Nous sommes partis pour le combat.
Maintenant, maintenant plus d'hésitation,
Nous briserons mais nous ne plierons pas.

Algérie bien aimée,
Pour toi, nous verserons notre sang,
Ton ciel s'est éclairé,
au soleil de la liberté.

Ô faucon, volant en liberté,
Salue bien nos frères.
De Rio de Oro à Siwa,

English translation

Get up child of Amazigh!
