Winifred Ashton, dite Clemence Dane, née le 21 février 1888 à Londres où elle est morte le 26 mars 1965, est une romancière et dramaturge anglaise.

Son roman Legend (1919) fut adapté pour le théâtre sous le titre A Bill of Divorcement en 1921 et repris au cinéma en 1932 par George Cukor. Elle est notamment l'auteur du roman historique He Brings Great News (1944).
