Canterbury Rugby Football Union est la fédération de rugby à XV pour la région néo-zélandaise de Canterbury. Son équipe fanion participe au championnat des provinces NPC, appelé Air New Zealand Cup en 2006. Elle est basée à Christchurch et joue au Jade Stadium.
L'équipe de Canterbury a remporté huit fois le championnat des provinces (NPC, puis Air New Zealand Cup), dont elle détient les trois derniers titres.
Les joueurs de Canterbury forment l'ossature des Crusaders qui est l'équipe phare du Super 14.
