Le birr (Ge'ez: ብር, 
) est la monnaie de l'Éthiopie.
Introduite en 1945 sous le terme de dollar éthiopien, cette monnaie a adopté son nom actuel en 1976.
En avril 2011, un birr vaut environ 0,041 €, 0,057 $CAN ou 26,89 francs CFA.
Le code (ISO 4217) du birr est ETB.
