Walton Ford (né en 1960) est un peintre naturaliste américain. Ces œuvres représentent des animaux sauvages tels que les tigres éléphants, singes et de nombreux oiseaux exotiques, et rappellent la peinture coloniale du XVIIIe siècle. L'artiste y mêle surréalisme, humour et allégorie, avec une certaine critique du colonialisme, de l'industrialisme, des sciences naturelles et de l'effet de l'homme sur l'environnement.
