Bill Bryden

William Campbell Rough Bryden, CBE (né le 12 avril 1942 à Greenock en Écosse) est un réalisateur et scénariste britannique. Il a travaillé comme directeur au Royal Court Theatre (1967-1971), au Royal Lyceum Theatre d'Édimbourg (1972-1975) et au Royal National Theatre (1975-1985); il fut également directeur invité à Glasgow et à New York. En 1990, il dirigea La Petite Renarde rusée de Leoš Janáček au Royal Opera House. Il travailla également pour le petit et le grand écran, comme scénariste, directeur et producteur exécutif. Il épousa la potière Deborah Morris en 1970, et ont deux enfants.
