Paul Bonga Bonga

Paul Bonga Bonga (né le 25 avril 1933 à Ebonda en République démocratique du congo est un ancien footballeur congolais (RDC).

Biographie

Il a fait l'essentiel de sa carrière en tant que milieu de terrain dans les années 1950 et 1960 au Standard de Liège[1] en Belgique, club avec qui il a en tout disputé durant sa carrière plus de 100 matchs entre 1957 et 1963.

Il est connu pour avoir été le premier joueur de football africain à avoir été désigné dans le XI mondial du World Soccer Magazine, lors de l'année 1962[2] (avec Puskas, Pelé, Kubala, Kubala ou encore Germano).
