Un monaco est un cocktail à base de bière et de limonade (comme pour un panaché) auquel on ajoute du sirop de grenadine.
Histoire
Ce cocktail léger et rafraîchissant est une boisson essentiellement connue et consommée en France et en Belgique. Cette boisson est un classique des bistrots, peu coûteux et à base de bière, il est la plupart du temps servi a la pression. Toutefois, en 1995, Heineken a lancé "Monaco de Panach'", un monaco tout prêt, commercialisé en bouteille pour chez soi[1].
Réalisation
Pour servir un monaco, utiliser un verre à bière, de type verre tulipe. Dans votre verre verser un fond de sirop de grenadine puis 1/3 de la limonade ( ou 1/2 de limonade si vous aimez que la boisson soit plus sucrée ) completer de bière blonde légère, de type pils. Boire très frais.
