Manchester Art Galery.

Manchester Art Gallery est une galerie d'art publique à Manchester City dans le Nord-Ouest de l'Angleterre.

Ouverte en 1824, la galerie occupe trois bâtiments dont le plus ancien est classé[1]. C'était à l'origine la Royal Manchester Institution et il a été imaginé par Sir Charles Barry en 1824. La galerie a été étendue en 2002 par Hopkins Architects in 2002 pour s'installer également à l'ancien bâtiment du Manchester Athenaeum, de style Palazzo, et également dessiné par Barry en 1826. La galerie abrite beaucoup d'œuvres spécifiquement liées à Manchester, en particulier dans la salle éponyme.
