Crocodile Tears (littéralement « Larmes de Crocodile » en français) est le huitième roman de la série Alex Rider écrite par l’auteur britannique Anthony Horowitz, à propos d'un jeune espion. Le 17 décembre 2008, Anthony Horowitz a annoncé que le titre devrait être Crocodile Tears. Il a d'abord été signalé que Yassen soit le huitième tome de la série, mais Anthony Horowitz l’a repensé et a choisi de le mettre dixieme, une fois la saga terminée.
Scénario
Et dire qu'Alex pensait pouvoir jouir d'une existence normale ! De nouveau embrigadé par le MI6, Alex doit enquêter sur un laboratoire qui cultive des plantes génétiquement modifiées. Quand il découvre les manipulations de Desmond Mc Cain, un gérant d’œuvres caritatives, il est kidnappé, emmené en Afrique et emprisonné. Mc Cain projette tout simplement d'empoisonner la planète...
