Les Defenders du Connecticut (en anglais : Connecticut Defenders) sont une équipe de ligue mineure de baseball basée à Norwich (Connecticut). Affiliés à la formation de MLB des San Francisco Giants, les Defenders jouent au niveau Double-A en Eastern League. Fondée en 1995 sous le nom des Navigators de Norwich (Norwich Navigators), l'équipe adopte son nom actuel en novembre 2005.
Histoire
La franchise est créée par déménagement des Albany A's de Colonie (New York) à Norwich (Connecticut) en 1995. Les Navigators débutent en championnat le 6 avril 1995 avant d'inaugurer leur Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium le 17 avril.
