Philippe Washer, né le 6 août 1924, a été l'un des joueurs de tennis les plus titrés de l'histoire du tennis belge.

en 1951, 1952, 1953, 1954, 1955 et 1957 avec Jacky Brichant
- double mixte : champion de Belgique en 1946 avec Myriam de Borman
et en 1951 avec Madame G. Marcq
- Avec son partenaire Jacky Brichant, il remporta deux fois la finale de la zone européenne
de la Coupe Davis, en 1953 et 1957, et affronta les États-Unis d'Amérique en finale intercontinentale
