The Tea Party est un groupe de rock canadien formé au début des années 1990. C'est un power trio qui pratique un rock influencé par Led Zeppelin et The Doors ; son leader est le charismatique Jeff Martin qui donne une véritable identité musicale au groupe. Les albums Transmission, The Edge of Twilight et Triptych représentent bien les différentes facettes du groupe. Après la sortie de l'album Seven Circles, le groupe se sépare. Jeff Martin continue l'aventure en solo en revenant à ce que le groupe faisait à ses débuts.
