The Magic 7

The Magic 7 est un téléfilm d'animation américain de Roger Holzberg diffusé en 2008. Il était initialement prévu à l'air sur le Jour de la Terre (22 avril) en 1997, mais a été reportée. Après plans plus tard pour une version 2005, le film a été une nouvelle fois suspendu indéfiniment.

Synopsis

Deux enfants et un dragon défient les six plus grands ennemis de la terre.

Tournage

La production sur le film a commencé en 1990 et a été retardée à plusieurs reprises depuis lors. Par la suite, deux des acteurs qui ont enregistré des voix pour les parties dans le film sont aujourd'hui décédé: John Candy, la voix de Sam Smokestack est mort en 1994; Madeline Kahn, la voix de Wastra est décédé en 1999. D'autres acteurs, tels que Michael J. Fox, James Earl Jones, Jeremy Irons, et Ice-T, tous enregistrés leur voix dans le début des années 1990. la voix de Candy a depuis été retirée du film, comme Kahn et ils ne sont plus décrits comme faisant partie de la distribution. Il n'est pas sûr si ce personnage a été exprimée par un nouvel acteur, ou entièrement retiré de la pellicule.

Pulse Entertainment et de la distribution, sous la direction du chef de la direction CEO Ron Layton, a acheté les droits sur le Grand Magic 7 en 1995 avec l'intention de produire pleinement l'animation. L'Auteur-compositeur Robert J. Sherman a été engagé pour écrire des chansons supplémentaires pour le film. Sherman a également écrit un traitement qui utilise la voix déjà enregistrées dans un script révisé. Toutefois, les fonds insuffisants ont été soulevées et le projet a finalement été mise à l'écart jusqu'au début des années 2000, lorsque l'intérêt a été relancé en elle.
