Tadahisa Shimazu

Tadahisa Shimazu (島津忠久 ; 1179 – 1er août, 1227) est le fondateur de la famille Shimazu.

Tadahisa Shimazu serait né à Sumiyishi Taisha à Ōsaka. Il s'appelait à l'origine Tadayoshi Koremune (惟宗忠久), mais après que Minamoto no Yoritomo lui aie donné le fief Shimazu dans la province de Hyūga, il changea de nom. Une histoire dit qu'il serait le fils de Minamoto no Yoritomo, car on ne comprend pas très bien pourquoi celui-ci aurait donné à Tadahisa Shimazu autant de terres. Il gouvernait en effet, la province de Satsuma, la province d'Ōsumi et la province de Hyūga.
