San Pawl il-Baħar
San Pawl il-Baħar ou St Paul's Bay est une ville située au nord-est de Malte, à 16 kilomètres de la capitale La Vallette. Son nom fait référence au naufrage de saint Paul, tel que documenté dans les Actes des Apôtres, qui se serait produit dans les îles de la baie Saint-Paul, nommées Îles de Saint-Paul. Le Conseil local de San Pawl il-Baħar réunit les localités de Burmarrad, Qawra, Buġibba, Xemxija, Mselliet et San Martin, de même que des parties de Bidnija, Mistra et Għajn Tuffieħa.
La population résidente de la ville se chiffrait à 12 000 personnes en 2002; elle grimpe à 60 000 personnes de juin à septembre. Cet afflux de population est dû aux résidents estivaux maltais de même qu'aux touristes qui restent dans les hôtels, principalement à Buġibba et Qawra.
