Le Southern Poverty Law Center est une association américaine reconnue pour ses travaux de surveillance sur l'extrême-droite et les associations (généralement d'extrême-droite ou religieuses) prônant la haine aux États-Unis.
Elle est basée à Montgomery, capitale de l'Alabama, État du Sud des États-Unis. Elle a été fondée en 1971 par Morris Dees, Joseph J. Levin Jr. et Julian Bond[1].
