Sam Sparro (né Sam Falson le 8 novembre 1982) est un chanteur, compositeur, producteur de musique.
Biographie
Né à Sydney, en Australie, Sparro a fait ses premiers pas dans la chanson très jeune. À l'âge de 10 ans, il déménage avec sa famille à Los Angeles. Son père y signa un contrat et enregistra un album de soul[2].
Le premier job de Sam fut acteur pour une publicité de McDonald's, alors qu'il n'était encore qu'un enfant[3].
Il quitta Los Angeles et retourna brièvement à Sydney où il vécut avec ses grands-parents et où il travailla dans une compagnie de relations publiques. Il voyagea ensuite à travers le Royaume-Uni, s'immergeant de la musique anglaise et des scènes Londonienne. En 2002, il retourna à Los Angeles où il travailla dans un coffee shop.
Le premier single de Sparro (Cottonmouth) fut réalisé en 2007. Son second single, Black & Gold, débuta à la 23e place des charts anglais le 24 mars 2008. Le 13 avril, le single était déjà placé en seconde place. Son premier album éponyme est sorti en Angleterre le 28 avril 2008.
