Rosemary, ou simplement Rose, est un personnage de jeu vidéo de la série Metal Gear. Elle apparaît dans Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty et Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

Biographie

Dans les années 2000, Rosemary entre à la National Security Agency comme analyste. En 2008, le Pentagone l'a charge d'espionner Raiden (Jack) et entame une relation amoureuse avec lui. Pendant l'incident de la Big Shell, le 29 avril 2009, elle participe à la mission de Raiden en tant qu'analyste des données (sauvegarde de la progression). Elle intervient régulièrement dans les discussions par Codec, parfois pour des raisons jugées futiles, comme le fait d'essayer de rappeler à Raiden que le lendemain correspond au jour anniversaire de leur rencontre. Au cours de la mission, elle découvre le passé d'enfant soldat de Raiden. Elle lui avoue que leur relation avait été planifiée mais explique que son amour est sincère. Elle lui révèle plus tard attendre un enfant de lui. Au 30 avril au matin, Rosemary retrouve Raiden sur Wall Street. Ils se promettent de se voir enfin pour ce qu'ils sont vraiment et se projettent dans l'avenir.

En 2014, Rosemary travaille comme conseillère psychologique pour le CSP (Combat Stress Platoon). Elle accompagne Roy Campbell et conseille Solid Snake. Sa relation avec Raiden est terminée.

Doublage

Kikuko Inoue prête sa voix au personnage dans la version japonaise (elle interprète aussi le rôle de Sunny) tandis que Lara Cody la double dans la version anglaise.
