Rodnay Zaks (né à Paris, France, le 10 février 1946) est un pionnier de l'informatique, auteur d'ouvrages sur la programmation[1] et fondateur de la maison d'édition indépendante Sybex, spécialisée dans l'informatique, qu'il dirigea jusqu'à sa cession à John Wiley and Sons en mai 2005.
Diplômé de l'École Centrale Paris (promotion 1967) et titulaire d'un Master's degree de l'Université de Californie à Berkeley, il y fut également la troisième personne à recevoir un Ph.D. dans le tout nouveau département d'informatique.
Il commença sa carrière en formant des ingénieurs et des managers à la nouvelle technologie des microprocesseurs et fonda par la suite Sybex en 1976.
