Richard E. Grant, nom de scène de Richard Esterhuysen, est un acteur, réalisateur et scénariste britannique, né le 5 mai 1957 de parents sud-africains à Mbabane (Swaziland, alors protectorat britannique). Résidant au Royaume-Uni depuis 1982, il possède la double nationalité britannique et swazilandaise[1].

Révélé en 1987 par le film Withnail & I, de Bruce Robinson, il a depuis poursuivi une carrière au cinéma et à la télévision, au Royaume-Uni et aux États-Unis.
