Kara Hülegü ou Qara-Hulägu (mort en 1252), est un khan Djaghataïde qui a régné sur le khanat de Djaghataï de 1242 à 1246 et en 1252.
Biographie
Kara Hülegü est le fils de Mütügen, tué en 1221 au siège de Bâmiyân, petit-fils de Djaghataï, qui le désigne à sa mort pour lui succéder sous la tutelle de sa mère Ebuskune. A l'avènement de Güyük au quriltay de l'été 1246, il est déposé au profit de l'ami personnel du nouveau grand khan, son oncle Yissu Mangu, fils puîné de Djaghataï, qui est destitué par Möngke pour avoir appuyé la branche d’Ögödei contre sa candidature en 1252. Kara Hülegü retrouve le pouvoir, mais il meurt la même année. S’est sa veuve Orghana Katun qui dirige le khanat de Djaghataï jusqu’en 1261. Elle fait exécuter Yissu Mangu.
