Un placemaking (littéralement "fabrication d'espace" en anglais) est un terme initialement utilisé par les équipes Disney (Walt Disney Imagineering) pour décrire la rénovation thématique entière d'une zone des parcs à thèmes, qui s'accompagne en général d'un ajout de nouvelles attractions.
Exemple: Toon Studio, au parc Walt Disney Studios, un parc à thème de Disneyland Paris.
