Miami Hurricanes est un club omnisports universitaire de l'Université de Miami. Les équipes des Hurricanes participent aux compétitions universitaires organisées par la National Collegiate Athletic Association. Miami fait partie de la division Atlantic Coast Conference où elle participe dans 15 disciplines.

La plus fameuse équipe des Hurricanes est celle de football américain qui a remporté cinq titres nationaux (1983, 1987, 1989, 1991 et 2001). Vinny Testaverde (1986) et Gino Torretta (1992) furent honorés par un Heisman Trophy. Les Hurricanes évoluent au Sun Life Stadium.

Palmarès

L'équipe de baseball des Hurricanes a remporté quatre titres nationaux (College World Series) : 1982, 1985, 1999 et 2001.
