Parmi les groupes issus de ce courant musical, on peut citer The Searchers, Gerry & The Pacemakers, Billy J. Kramer & the Dakotas, The Mojos, The Big Three, The Swinging Blue Jeans, Rory Storm & the Hurricanes, Kingsize Taylor & the Dominoes, Howie Casey & the Seniors, The Merseybeats et surtout, The Beatles.
