Synopsis

Jenny (Carey Mulligan), une adolescente de 17 ans , vit dans les quartiers huppés du Londres des années 1960. Elle fait la rencontre d'un homme de 35 ans (Peter Sarsgaard), passionné de voitures, qui va l'emmener dans des dîners chics, des clubs branchés, et en voyage à Paris. Cela va entrainer un conflit avec son père et remettre en question son entrée à Oxford.[1]
