American Association of Laboratory Accreditation

A2LA ou American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (Association américaine pour l'accréditation et certification des laboratoires) est une association non gouvernementale à but non lucratif dont la mission est de fournir des services et des cours de formation dans le domaine de la certification des laboratoires. Cette certification est sur la base de la norme ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

L'association se donne pour objectif de :

  • Satisfaire les besoins des laboratoires et leurs clients en termes de test et de calibration
  • Améliorer la qualité des laboratoires et de leurs bases de données
  • promouvoir la certification pour faciliter les échanges
