L'oblast de Kiev (russe : Киевская область, ukrainien : Київська область, Kyivs’ka oblast’ ou Київщина, Kyivchtchyna) est un oblast au centre de l'Ukraine. Sa capitale est la ville de Kiev, aussi capitale de la nation indépendante d'Ukraine. Bien que la municipalité de Kiev abrite des entités administratives de l'oblast de Kiev, la ville de Kiev est indépendante de l'oblast et possède un statut spécial.

Géographie

L'oblast est divisé par le Dniepr en deux parties plus ou moins égales. Le nord-ouest de la province contient la zone de Tchernobyl. La plus grande ville de cette zone est Pripiat, désormais une ville fantôme.

Le territoire fait 28 100 km². Sa population, excluant Keiv, fait 1,8 million d'habitants (est. 2004-2005).
