Boissons Kawa/Caoua
Deux homophones, de graphies très différentes, peuvent prendre la prononciation [kawa]
- Le caoua est un terme argotique qui désigne la boisson café. On trouve parfois l'orthographe kawa au lieu de caoua, mais celle-ci peut être considérée comme fautive. Le terme tire son origine de l'arabe Kahwa, qui veut dire café.
- Le kawa aussi appelé kava est une plante originaire (Piper methysticum) du Pacifique occidental dont on tire une boisson stupéfiante, plus ou moins hallucinogène. La prononciation conseillée est [kava] et non [kawa]. Cependant, on entend souvent cette dernière.
Les deux termes désignent deux boissons stimulantes et la collision sémantique ou phonénique était inévitable.
