La Grand Trunk Road ou G.T. Rd est une grande route transcontinentale qui traverse le nord de l'Inde d'est en ouest, reliant Amritsar dans le Penjab à Sonargaon (en) dans le Bengale-Occidental.

Le tracé originel, conçu par Sher Shâh Sûrî vers 1545, passe par Vârânasî, Allâhâbâd, Âgrâ, Mathurâ et Delhi. La route continue au Pakistan en reliant Lahore et Peshawar (en passant par Kamoke et Gujranwala), puis permet d'atteindre Kaboul en Afghanistan par la passe de Khyber. Elle était connue par les Européens au XVIIe siècle sous le nom de la Grande Marche (The Long Walk). Sa longueur totale est de 2 600 km.

En 1947, quinze millions de réfugiés l'empruntèrent lors de la partition de l'Inde pour rejoindre l'Inde ou le Pakistan.

Une grande partie du roman Kim de Rudyard Kipling a pour décor la G.T. Rd.
