Les Gold Coast Titans sont une équipe australienne de rugby à XIII jouant dans la National Rugby League. Le club est basé dans la Gold Coast, Queensland, Australie.
Histoire
En 2004, la NRL annonce que 3 clubs ont posé leur candidature pour intégrer le championnat en 2007. Il s'agit des Gold Coast Dolphins, des Central Coast Bears et des Wellington Orcas. Le 27 mai 2005, le directeur de la NRL, David Gallop annonce que la candidature de Gold Coast a été retenue. Les Redcliffe Dolphins, club disputant la Queensland Cup, menace le Gold Coast d'aller en justice pour l'utilisation du nom de Dolphins. De ce fait, le Gold Coast décide de changer d'appellation et demandent l'avis aux fans pour choisir un nouveau nom par le biais du site internet du club. Finalement, le club annonce le 21 septembre 2005, que le nom de Titans a été le plus populaire devant Stingers et Pirates.
En 2008, les Titans auront un nouveau stade de 25 000 places se trouvant à Robina[1].
