Prix du Film allemand

Le Prix du Film allemand (Deutscher Filmpreis) est la récompense allemande la plus importante attribuée à un film. À l'instar des Césars français, il couronne les meilleurs films, acteurs, réalisateurs et techniciens du cinéma allemand.

Depuis 1999, les formes féminines du trophée ont valu à la statuette dorée le surnom de « Lola », en référence aux nombreuses occurrences de ce prénom dans les productions cinématographiques allemandes (le rôle de Marlène Dietrich dans L'Ange bleu, les films de Fassbinder, Lola, et de Tom Tykwer, Cours, Lola, cours).

Attribué par l'Académie du Film allemand (Deutsche Filmakademie) depuis 2005, il a été remis par une commission plus restreinte de 1949 à 2004. Il remplace le Prix Fédéral du Film (Bundesfilmpreis) depuis 1999.
