Gene Myron Amdahl, né le 16 novembre 1922, américain d'origine norvégienne, est un architecte d'ordinateur et un entrepreneur, principalement connu pour son travail sur les ordinateurs centraux chez IBM et plus tard dans ses propres entreprises, particulièrement Amdahl Corporation. Il est peut-être plus connu encore pour la formulation d'une loi fondamentale dans la théorie du calcul parallèle ; cette loi porte le nom de loi d'Amdahl.
