Fuji Rock Festival

Green stage, la scène principale

Le Fuji Rock Festival est le plus important festival de musique rock du Japon, à la fois en raison des artistes qui s'y produisent et du public qui le fréquente chaque année. Il se déroule les derniers vendredi, samedi et dimanche de juillet. 3 jours et 3 nuits de festival non-stop. Les cinq principales scènes sont espacées d'environ 20 minutes à pieds dans les montagnes à Naeba, dans le préfecture de Niigata au Japon. Le festival se compose de sept secteurs différents. Le site Vert, le plus important, a une capacité de plus de 30 000 personnes. En 2005, plus de 100 000 personnes ont assisté au festival.

La deuxième année, le festival s'est tenu sur un site provisoire à Tōkyō. Ce n'est que quelques années après que le festival a trouvé son site définitif à Naeba.

1997

Le festival a commencé en 1997 près du Mont Fuji, qui a donné son nom au festival. Cette année-là, un ouragan est venu détruire le festival sans faire de victime.
