Francesco Pasinetti est un critique, scénariste et réalisateur italien né le 1er juin 1911 à Venise et décédé le 2 avril 1949 à Rome. On lui doit des ouvrages importants sur l'histoire du cinéma : Filmlexicon, piccola enciclopedia cinematografica et Mezzo secolo di cinema notamment.
En son hommage, un prix Pasinetti a été décerné plusieurs années à la Mostra de Venise.
